Please write to us for the Zoom link: webmaster @aamsopera.com, <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The AAMS and GMU celebrate the AANHPI (Asian American Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander) Heritage Month on Friday, May 2nd at 6:00 pm: Exhibition and 7:00 pm performance at the Center for the Arts, George Mason University.<\/p>\n\n\n<p><strong>Upcoming AAMS Emerging Artist Workshop, REACH, Kennedy Center from June 16 to June 21, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Upcoming AAMS Emerging Young Artists Concert in Saturday, June 21th 2025, Millennium Stage, Kennedy Center.\u00a0 Free admission.\u00a0 We will be presenting incredible young artists along with fantastic college singers.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Upcoming AAMS International Summer Music Institute, Todi, Italy at<\/strong> <em><strong>La Lingua La Vita<\/strong><\/em> and <strong><em>Scuola comunale di Music di Todi, <\/em>June 23th to July 5st, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The year <strong>2024 AAMS international Competition Winners&#8217; concert <\/strong>will be in-person at the Bethesda Presbyterian Church. The Winners&#8217; Concert will be on Saturday, February 1st<strong>, 2025 at 6:00 pm<\/strong> at Millennium Stage, kennedy Center. Please write to us for the Zoom link: webmaster @aamsopera.com,<\/p>\n<p><strong>AAMS <\/strong>was formed in 1993 and incorporated in January 1996.\u00a0 We run the AAMS International Summer Music Institute, Interntional Music competition, and Bethesda Summer Music Festival.\u00a0 We are dedicated to the promotion of young artists in opera, musical theater, and chamber music.\u00a0 We have been performing within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area and International Stages through the International Summer Music Institute.\u00a0 AAMS has performing members, regular members, an executive committee and a board of directors representing diverse community members.\u00a0 AAMS supports APAHC, FAPAC and NAPAW functions, to promote cultural diversity by blending eastern and western styles, and creating opportunities for musicians from all corners of the world.\u00a0 In previous years,\u00a0 AAMS produced the world premiere of the Contemporary Opera <em>Lan-Ying<\/em>, an Art Songs Festival,\u00a0 and the Chamber Music Festival at the Terrace Theater, Kennedy Center.\u00a0 Since 2004 AAMS\u00a0 presented 20 performances\u00a0 at the Millennium Stage, Kennedy Center.\u00a0 AAMS also performs at Embassie&#8217;s\u00a0 Information &amp; Culture Centers as well as\u00a0 at NASA, HUD, CIA, FBI, FDA, NIH, and GSA.\u00a0 We promote opera and musical theater through the <strong>Bethesda Summer Music Festival<\/strong>, in Bethesda, MD and the <strong>International Summer Music Institute<\/strong> in Korea, Italy, Luxemburg, Sweden, and Finland.\u00a0 We hold our annual <strong>Piano, String, Woodwind, and Voice<\/strong> <strong>Competition<\/strong> on the 4<sup>th<\/sup> weekend of October.<\/p>\n<p>We held Young Artists Concert on Saturday, Janaury 29th, 2022 at 6 pm, Millennium Stage, Kennedy Center.<\/p>\n<p>The lecture recital was held on Sunday, May 8th at REACH, Kennedy Center<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The year 2025 AAMS international Competition for Voice Winners&#8217; concert will be on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 6:00 pm at Millennium Stage, Kennedy Center.
